FAQ
How long it lasts depends on the conditions the tree encounters. Generally with good watering and a fresh cut base, a tree can still look good 6 weeks after it cut cut, where a tree with no water can show signs of browning within one week.
To ensure your tree lasts the festive season in as good condition as possible:
- Wet down the whole tree prior to transport (especially if it's a long journey)
- Cut about 1cm off the base when you get home
- Keep the base submerged in water. Check and top up regularly.
- Spritz the tree all over with a spray bottle of water.
- Try to keep the tree in a shaded location.
Sorry, but this is not logistically possible for us at this moment due to a few reasons:
- It would require a higher level of insurance, which would make the trees more expensive.
- The collection process would take a lot longer and possibly not fit into our timeframe available.
- There are animals around, both livestock and wild, including scaled slithery friends, and the risks are too high for us at this stage.
